Bouldering in Santa Barbara
(Photos submitted by Dan Adams, Customer Service Associate at Real Cheap Sports.)
“About 200 or so problems just down the hill from Lizard’s Mouth. Some of the better problems in the area, with a handful of southern Cal classics, like The Extremist and Yeti. Not to be missed on a CA bouldering tour.” Rockclimbing.com

DAN’S NOTES ABOUT BOULDERING AT THE BRICKYARD:
1. The approach is much more straight forward since the fire, easier access to the different boulders, and re-growth is coming in nicely.
2. Good concentration of moderate to hard boulder problems in a small area.
3. Sandstone can be brittle up there, but on many of the often traveled boulders it is quite solid.
DIRECTIONS: (from Santa Barbara) “From Hwy 154, take West Camino Cielo for 3.4 miles and park. Follow the trail downhill towards the ocean for about 5 minutes to the first boulders.” Rockclimbing.com
